Buddies Brand Inc.

  • Originally joined Buddies Brand to integrate all of their disparate systems but realized the core systems were inadequate and not set up properly
  • With the lack of a CFO initially, stepped in to restructure the financials and convert the system into something that could grow with the Company
  • Partnered with one of the primary founders to launch operations in California and directly manage the business until it could stand on it's own
  • Helped to refine, document, and patent all of the unique intellectual property Buddies had developed
  • Initially concentrated on implementing technology to track inventory and related manufacturing processes in order to improve efficiency and reduce cost of goods
  • Working closely with new CFO and Compliance Officer to implement technology to support our rapid growth

Licorne Technologies - AJA Flow

  • Realizing that most of Startup Founders have great ideas, but no idea how to develop the software needed, formed the software development wing of ATG called Licorne Technologies 
  • Based on deep involvement in establishing the Regulatory processes in California and Massachusetts for Medicinal Marijana, became involved in a software project to cater to that industry
  • Instead of developing 'yet another' software package for cannabis that does not meet requirements, identified the "last remaining niche in the industry" according to investors
  • Leveraging that identification to provide the first custom iPaaS Platform for Cannabis called AJA
  • CTO responsible for all Technology Design, Architecture, Operations, and Implementation

Veriryde

  • Onboarded Veriryde based on a negotiated agreement for Equity
  • Designed, developed, and deployed a custom solution for the verification of items required by law in Massachusetts (H.4064).  This included background checks, insurance verification, and vehicle inspections
  • When postponed by Massachusetts based on rejection issues, moved to expanding the product to provide background checks for all eCommerce services and not just ridesharing platforms
  • Currently working with the State of Rhode Island to pilot the product
  • Working on a Consumer level mobile application that allows the person receiving the service to validate the service provider at the time of service
  • Leverages a Public/Private partnership for Insurance and CORI data

MedicFP - VerifyID

  • Onboarded MedicFP based on a negotiated agreement for Equity and Retainer
  • Originally came on board as an Advisor to the Board, but quickly assumed the role of Acting CTO
  • Worked with development to integrate various biometric technologies into the product including the Fujitsu Palm Vein Scanner and Facial Recognition (Sensory SDK)
  • Rewrote, redefined, and refiled the Company's Patent on their core technology.  Formally listed on the filing (F-10171CIP)
  • Established the first Public/Private partnership in history sharing Drivers License ID information to prevent Fraud (Florida Department of Transportation)
  • Developed a Custom Secure API Proxy for integration with the State of Florida and all other Secure Government data exchange. Meets all CJIS requirements.
  • Helped Business Development raise over $12M from Angel Investors

Armor Technology Group (ATG)

  • Founded Armor Technology Group a Virtual Startup Incubator for Regulated Products with 4 partners who had retired from Verizon Enterprise
  • Raised $1MM+ in seed money for existing opportunities
  • Onboarded Three Tech Startups immediately (combined valuation of over $50M+) and revenue positive
  • Responsible for all Technical functions including vetting new Startups, Technology Strategy for existing Partners, and Compliance/Security for  regulated projects
  • Hold Formal roles in each Startup venture including CTO and Technical Advisor to the Board

Verizon

  • Started with Verizon as a Senior Solutions Architect for Public Sector
  • Promoted to Principal Engineer for Public Sector supporting both SLED and Federal (one of two - East and West)
  • Promoted to Director of Engineering and managed a team of highly skilled Engineers that supported a National SLED footprint. Product support included all Strategic Services (Cloud, Colocation, Managed Hosting and Application Management).   
  • Worked with Product Engineering and Product Management and the FBI to ensure CJIS compliance on all Strategic Products
  • Worked with Product Engineering and Product Management to integrate Education Networks directly into Strategic Products (CENIC and Internet2) to reduce costs to Education
  • Established Verizon Strategic Services on multiple Government Contracts (MICTA, WSCA, Internet2, updated GSA, Texas DIR)
  • Supported the Federal engineering team on various accounts including the VA and CMS
  • Formed strong Partner relationships to add functionality to Strategic Products (Vormetric, VMWare, Netapp) and represented Verizon for these Partners on their direct accounts
